The 400 year old inn provided a great ambiance, if a little short of headroom, for the group that turned up to sample Head Chef Neil Thornley's cooking. Since Marco Pierre White took over the Yew Tree it's reputation has gone from strength to strengh.

Our guests included Howard and Veronica Davies from London Bailliage. They were wowed by the fantastic flavour and lightness of a Soup of Mussels Billy-By, also by Lamb slaughtered on a local estate, and finally, what many described as the best hot Raspberry Soufflé with hot Raspberry sauce that they had ever tasted.
