Le Poussin at Whitley Ridge

Alex Aitken's Michelin-starred Restaurant in the heart of the New Forest is the latest restuarant to join the Bailliage. Alex and his team have an enviable record of creating great places both to eat and to stay. He is a strong supporter of the Chaîne's Jeune Commis Chef Competition.

The Chesil Rectory

Winchester's best restaurant, The Chesil Rectory, joins the Bailliage de Wessex. Carl Reeve, the owner, and Robert Quehan, the head chef, believe that this gives them a link to people who would typically patronise the restaurant.

Bailliage de Wessex Bailli, Philip Evins, intronised

At the Grand Chapitre in Geneva, our Bailli, Philip Evins, was intronised by Chaîne des Rôtisseurs' President, Yam Atallah. He was supported by Marie Jones, Membre du Conseil d'Administration et du Conseil Magistral and Peter Musa, Bailli Délégué of Switzerland and Vice President International.

Keith Marshall, south Berkshire's most successful chef, and his wife Julie join the Bailliage.

The Dew Pond has twice been The Good Food Guide's 'Best Restuarant in Berkshire' and annually, for over 10 years, has gained a Michelin Bib Award.

The Thatched Cottage joins Bailliage

Martin Matysik, prize winning chef/proprietor of the Thatched Cottage restaurant in Brockenhurst is the latest member to join the Bailliage. Martin recently won the Hobart International Prize for his new pasta dish from 800 entrants worldwide.

The Three Lions joins Bailliage

Mike and Jayne Womersley who run the Three Lions restaurant in Stuckton, awarded Hampshire Restaurant of the Year 2006 by The Good Food Guide, are the latest to join the Bailliage.

New Bailliage de Wessex established

A new Bailliage of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs has been established in southern England with Germain Marquis of the Clos du Marquis restaurant joining Philip Evins and other friends in the area in this exciting venture.
